Ultrasn0w with Sn0wbreeze Unlock and Jailbreak iOS 5.1

There are a lot of different unlocks for iPhone on the web, but many of them are not working. Last time I wrote you how to guide where you can see iPhone unlocking method using Ultrasn0w 1.2.5. But today there is a new version of Sn0wbreeze 2.9.3 which is available for free.

Here you can find some tips and advices and requirements before you begin to jailbreak and unlock iOS 5.1 using Sn0wbreeze 2.9.3 and Ultrasn0w fixer.
After reading this article you can use our guide to jailbreak iOS 5.1 using Sn0wbreeze 2.9.3. Also after jailbreak you can unlock iOS 5.1 using Ultrasn0w fixer.
I also wrote you guide to jailbreak iOS 5.1 semi untethered using sn0wbreeze 2.9.2 so you can use it if you need however this sn0wbreeze iOS 5.1 jailbreak is tethered. But there is one exception. If your iPhone 3GS have an old bootrom than you can jailbreak iOS 5.1 untethered with sn0wbreeze 2.9.3.
And this jailbreaking method must be performed only on Windows and works only with old basebands such as:
04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, 06.15.00, 01.59.00;

In case you have Gevey card and 04.10.01 baseband then you can use this unlock for iOS 5.1. But if you are iPhone 4S user so don’t update to iOS 5.1 because you can’t make custom ipsw and unlock iPhone 4S with Gevey card.
Also you must download and install iBooty 2.3 each time when you reboot your iPhone as it is tethered jailbreak.
Those with 06.15.00 baseband can restore to iOS 5.1 and remove the terminal from Recovery mode using iBooty.
I hope this tips will help you to jailbreak iOS 5.1 (tethered) using Sn0wbreese 2.9.3 and then unlock iOS 5.1.

Ultrasn0w Fixer To Unlock iOS 6.1 iPhone 4 and 3GS

As it was promised iPhone Dev team released new Ultrasn0w to unlock iOS 6.1 on iPhone 4, 3GS on old baseband. The method is very easy and I’ll show you how to do that quick.
If you use iPhone 4 baseband 04.11.08, 04.12.01 or 04.12.02 and 3GS new bootrom you can’t use Ultrasn0w tool. In this case try legit IMEI unlocking service to unlock iOS 6.1 firmware.
Less that a month ago third-party developers, msft.guy and zmaster, released Ultrasn0w fixer 6.1 which you can use after evasi0n jailbreak and many our visitors found useful our tutorial guide on how to use Ultrasn0w fixer 6.0. You can try these both methods. But before we start you should check the list of supported baseband.

Supported Ultrasn0w Fixer for iOS 6.1 Baseband

iPhone 4
  • 01.59.00
iPhone 3GS
  • 04.26.08
  • 05.11.07
  • 05.13.01
  • 05.12.01o
  • 06.15.00
So if you found your baseband in this list the last thing that you have to do is to update your device to iOS 6.1 preserving old baseband because if you don’t do that your iPhone iOS 6.1 baseband will update to the newer version and you will not be able to unlock it.
And the last thing, I promise. To complete preparation for iPhone 4, 3GS unlocking you have to jailbreak iOS 6.1 using evasi0n which is the best thing in all this. So, let’s start.

How to Use Ultrasn0w Fixer to Unlock iOS 6.1

iPhone 5 will be released on Friday

Yes, iPhone 5 will be released in the late September, more precisely on Friday, 21 September, 2012. This rumor came from a French blog, App4Phone. Earlier today, we reported that next-gen iPhone will have a smaller 19 –pin dock connector. However, iMore also posted that Apple will also provide a standard 30-pin dock adaptor with the next-gen iPhone in order to connect your iDevice with older dock accessories.

new iPod touch to match next iPhone’s taller display, add A5 chip and iPad-like shell

Quote:
Macotakara, the same publication to report on an iOS-inspired, taller iPod nano, claims that Apple is preparing an updated iPod touch for launch this fall. The site says that this new iPod touch will match the next-generation iPhone in providing a taller, four-inch display.

Quote:
Previously leaked next-generation iPod touch front-frame

Also reportedly on tap is the A5 processor from the iPhone 4S and a rear-shell that matches the iPad. The iPad sports a buffed aluminum shell, rather than shiny stainless steel like on the current iPod touch. A hole toward the bottom back of the device is also said to be present, but the report is unsure of the hole’s function. Perhaps it is a speaker, but that’s just speculation.

15 interesting points from today’s earnings call

Apple just announced its financial results for Q3 2012, and is now finishing up its earnings call. As promised, we’ve collected a list of some of the more interesting bits from the call to pass on to you.
Among the list, is the fact that Apple added $7 billion to its growing cash pile last quarter, bringing its cash total to more than $117 billion. Also, there are now 410 million iOS devices in the wild…

  • Apple now has $117 billion in cash
  • iPod still accounts for more than 70% of mp3 player market
  • 1.3 million Apple TVs sold last quarter
  • 410 million iPhones, iPads and iPod touches in the wild
  • 150 million iCloud users
  • 650,000 apps in App Store
  • $1.8 billion in iTunes sales last quarter
  • 20 million songs downloaded last quarter
  • $5.5 billion paid out to app developers to date
  • App Store in 155 countries
  • iPhone now on 250 carriers in more than 100 countries
  • iPad available in 97 countries
  • New Mac OS, OS X Mountain Lion, launches tomorrow
  • $4.1 billion in retail sales
  • 80.3 million retail store visitors
Apple’s overall iPhone sales and revenue numbers missed Wall Street’s projections, but the company says that it is still “extremely confident” in its strategy moving forward.
The company also made sure to note that it has some “amazing new products in the pipeline.” And if recent rumors are any indication, we could see a number of those this fall.

Password requirement for free apps in iOS 6 seems to be erratic

Yesterday, we mentioned that several users were reporting that the latest version of iOS 6 beta was not requiring them to put in their passwords when downloading free apps.
The news spread quickly, but the assumption was premature. It appears that Apple has quickly reversed this behavior via a backend update, and the password requirement is back in place…
9to5Mac points out that it seems like something has changed, essentially overnight, in the way the App Store handles free app downloads. We can confirm this, as all attempts to download free apps this morning have prompted a request for a password entry.
TheNextWeb’s Matthew Panzarino notes that this behavior has already changed several times throughout the past month, so folks shouldn’t assume that anything is set in stone until iOS 6 goes public sometime later this year. Good advice.
Judging by the feedback yesterday, removing the password requirement for free apps would be a welcomed change in iOS 6. But apparently, Apple’s not quite ready to make that call just yet. And that, my friends, is why we jailbreak.
Are you still able to download free apps without a password?

iPhone 3GS on iOS 6 using RedSn0w for Windows.

These are instructions on how to perform a jailbreak of your iPhone 3GS on iOS 6 using RedSn0w for Windows.

This jailbreak is untethered for old bootrom devices; however, new bootrom devices are tethered. A tethered jailbreak means you will need to connect your device to the computer each time you reboot.

Step One
Create a folder on your desktop called Pwnage

Download the latest version of RedSn0w from here and place it in the Pwnage folder. Likewise, download the 6.0 firmware from here and place it in the Pwnage folder. (Note: you do not need to download the 6.0 firmware if you are already on iOS 6.0)

Extract the RedSn0w zip file to the Pwnage folder.

Step Two:
If you haven't already updated to iOS 6 then open iTunes from your dock.

Select your iPhone from the list of devices on the left. Now hold down Shift and click the Restore button. Restore is preferred as it won't create any wasted space on your iPhone.

Navigate to the Pwnage folder on your desktop and select the 6.0 firmware ipsw. Click the Choose button to continue.

iTunes will now update your iPhone to the new firmware.

**Important: If you want to keep your UltraSn0w unlock then follow these instructions to update.

Step Three
Right click or control-click the redsn0w application from the redsn0w folder we extracted earlier and choose Run as administrator from the popup menu that appears.

Step Four
Once RedSn0w opens ensure your device is connected and click the Jailbreak button

Step Five
Turn OFF your device then click the Next button

Step Six
RedSn0w will now guide you through the steps to get into DFU mode. You can find more help with DFU mode here.

Hold down both the Home button and the Power button for 10 seconds.

Release the Power button and continue holding the Home button until RedSn0w detects the device.

Step Seven
Your iPhone will now be exploited with limera1n.

Step Eight
RedSn0w will now prepare the jailbreak data.

Step Nine
Select Cydia from the list of options and click Next.

Step Ten
Your iPhone will now be rebooted again and RedSn0w will begin uploading the new RAM Disk and Kernel.

Step Eleven
Once this is complete you will be notified that RedSn0w is done.

BOOT TETHERED
Once you have jailbroken you will need to rerun redsn0w to boot tethered only if you have a new bootrom iPhone 3GS.

Step One
From the main RedSn0w menu click the Extras button.

Step Two
Select Just boot from the Extras menu to boot tethered and follow the instructions to put your device into DFU mode again for boot.

How to jailbreak iOS 6 using evasi0n Step by Step.

Step 1: Download evasi0n for Mac via our http://www.evasi0n.com/ and extract the package.
Step 2: Double click the evasi0n app to run it.
Step 3: If your device has a passcode set, unlock your device and go to Settings > General > Passcode Lock > and select Turn Passcode Off.
Step 4: Plug in your iDevice to your computer. This can be any device running iOS 6.x, except for Apple TV devices.

Step 5: You should see a message on the evasi0n tool that it has detected your device. Once an eligible device is detected, the Jailbreak button will become clickable.
Step 6: Click Jailbreak, and the jailbreak process will begin.
Step 7: Several automatic steps will now be performed, including preparing jailbreak data, injecting jailbreak data, rebooting the device, uploading Cydia, and uploading the Cydia packages list. This may take a few minutes, so be patient.
Step 8: Once the steps listed in step 7 have completed, you should now see a screen asking you unlock your device. Once your device is unlocked, you should see a new app icon on your Home screen called “Jailbreak”. Tap this Jailbreak app icon just ONCE, and the screen should go black and then return to the Home screen.
Step 09: You will see more messages like injecting jb data messages, and Root Filesystem successfully remounted on the evasi0n tool.
Step 10: Once the process is completed, you will see a “Done!” message on the evasi0n tool. Your device will now reboot. Be patient for this portion, because the first boot will take longer due to performing first time setup. Be aware that the device might restart several times.
Step 11: Your iDevice will now display a large Evasi0n logo sitting on a white background. The first time, you’ll see a series of brief (sometimes very brief) messages. These messages include:
  • Setting up fstab and AFC2
  • Setting up Cydia
  • Setting up Cydia packages
  • Clearing SpringBoard Cache
  • Rebooting

Again, the first set of messages on the white evasi0n background are there very briefly, blink and you might miss them. Afterwards, your device will reboot for the final time. Once your device reboots, you’ll again be presented with the white evasi0n screen with several messages. This time the messages include the following:
  • Initializing offsets
  • Finding offsets
  • Patching kernel
  • Cleaning up!
  • Done! Continuing boot
After these final steps, you’ll be taken to your Lock screen, signifying that the jailbreak process is completed.

The next step is to unlock your device, swipe over to the second page of your Home screen (or further if you have lots of apps), and open Cydia. On the first load Cydia will have to initialize, so this will take a minute or two. You’ll then be taken back to the Lock screen one final time. Unlock again, open up Cydia, and choose your user type.
Congratulations, your iOS 6 device is now jailbroken!

iTunes Error Collection With Solution

iTuNes ErRoR CollecTion With SoluTion UpDated !
====================================
Most of the errors found at Apple's Knowledge Base.
Here is a list of iTunes errors that could appear during a restore via USB cable.

Error 1
Unable to downgrade. Try changing the USB port (the back one of chassis is better) and restart computer.
The installed version of iTunes may also be too old. Update iTunes.

Error -1
Error occurs when one uses the "last ditch" method for preventing baseband updates on the iPhone 4. The baseband does not get updated using this method. Use FixRecovery to kick it out of recovery mode.

Error 2
Sn0wbreeze 1.6 Custom Firmware has a ASR patch problem. Use sn0wbreeze 1.7 or PwnageTool. Device isn't bootable.

Error 6

Not enter the downgrading mode, change USB port (the back one of chassis is better) and restart computer.

Error 9
Due to asr being patched, the SHA signature is automatically changed and after being resigned the kernel will refuse to use it. Therefore proper kernel patches are required. If necessary kernel patches are not applied, it will fail to load asr and error 9 would occur during restore.
Rebooting your PC may resolve this issue. Aslo it can be connection issue.

Error 10
LLB is missing from the IPSW. The device cannot be booted up. The trick to skip the baseband update no longer works.

Error 11

Removed bbfw file in the firmware folder of an unzipped IPSW.

Error 13

Occurs when you want to install a beta firmware with iTunes for Windows (actively blocked by Apple; beta users are developers and therefore must have a Mac).
Error 13 may also signify a USB problem. Check the USB connection and try other direct ports or maybe the USB cable is an older one. Device isn't bootable.

Error 14

Custom firmware update fail (PwnageTool). You have to restore the device with a custom firmware. Update to a custom firmware isn't working. Device isn't bootable. 2
USB Problem. Check the USB connection and try other direct ports or maybe the USB cable is an older one. Device isn't bootable.

Error 17

Custom firmware update fail (sn0wbreeze). You have to restore the device with a custom firmware. Update to a custom firmware isn't working.

Error 18
This occurs when the media library on the device is corrupt and cannot be modified or updated. Updating to the latest version of iTunes and then restoring should resolve this issue.

Error 20

Reportedly happens during failed downgrade attempts, Some have seen success afterwards by doing the downgrade from DFU mode instead of the normal Recovery mode.

Error 21
Error when using Sauriks server for a restore with iOS 5.x in the recovery mode at least on a A5 device. This error can also happen when you try to restore an iPod with hardware dfu. Use iREB r5 to solve this. or You are trying to update to a beta firmware without UDID activation.

Error 23
Baseband Communication error (Hardware), Most probably Baseband chip is faulty.

Error 26
False version of the NOR flash firmware. Use the correct sn0wbreeze version.

Error 27
modified the restore.plist so it would flash and also exchanged RestoreRamDisk and kernelcache. restore the original iOS.

Error 28

The problem is a bad dock connector on the iPhone. Must change the connector. If you have tried almost everything, reset the logic board leave uncharged for 2-3 days or remove battery for an hour. If doesn't work, the flash memory is damage .

Error 29

You might need to change the battery. See Apple discussions thread about this problem.

Error 31

DFU Loop, Sometimes during the restore with your messed-up IPSW, iTunes will return error 31. This is what's referred to as a DFU loop. The only solution is to restore a working firmware.

Error 34
Hard disk is run out of space when trying to download. Clear space and then continue downloading.

Error -35
Error when downloading songs purchased on iTunes, See Apple's KB article.

Error 37

iPod touch 2G LLB patched with the 0x24000 Segment Overflow was used on an iPhone 3GS custom firmware. Known on damaged bundles from unofficial PwnageTool distributions or bundles.

This is caused by a failure to match the Baseband Nonce currently in memory to the Nonce returned in the BasebandFirmware SHSH blob. This is a normal part of iPhone 4 local restores via TinyUmbrella.

Error 1011
The file iTunesMobileDevice.dll is damaged or updated.

Error 1013

Restart computer; change computer; reinstall system, if iPhone is always in restoring mode: XP users can jump from restoring mode with ibus; MAC users can use iNdependence. (usually on the iPhone with 1.0.2 firmware downgraded from 1.1.1)

succesfully repaired-no imei , wifi, bluetooth on 3g and 3gs

hello respected all the members of gsmhosting family , first of all i feel sorry , if somebody not like my post, but hope u all will understand .

hello friends , i made an experiment on iphone 3g , at starting the version of iphone 3g was 3.1.2, i jailbreaked it with redsn0w by selecting 4.1 , then its got hanged, then i flashed it with version 4.1(custom) and flashed ipad baseband and again i flashed it with version 4.2.1 (official) after doing this iphone comes in recovery mode then i again flashed it with 4.2.1(custom) , after that the phone goes on but it has no imei, wifi, and bletooth adress , now i have a phone without imei , wifi address and bluetooth adress

at this point i use this trick, i again flashed it with ipad baseband with redsn0w0.9.6b6, and agin restore it with custom firmware (4.2.1)

and w***** , the imei, wifi , bluetooth adress came back, and set works again fine,

at this point i think that it is done by only my luck nothing else,

then i decide to take risk with iphone 3gs , my heart beat was very fast during this experiment , but i again found success in iphone 3gs too , so i came to this conclusion

conclusion:- i found that when iphone has no imei, wifi, bletooth adress due to flashing with ipad baseband by redsn0w , it can be recovered by flashing it official baseband( 5.16 etc) , but we all know that at this time we have only option of ipad baseband (6.15) in redsn0w. so we have to tell to great redsn0w team to please add option to flash original baseband only , we know that we cant downgrade baseband , but we can update that,

so those who have lost imei ,wifi, bluetooth adress on infenion chip based iphone by flashing ipad baseband with redsn0w, they can recover their phone by flashing baseband(original) only or we can say default baseband of infenion chip

but at this time no option is available for flashing only baseband, so we have to wait untill the great great engineers made way for that,

i know some people will not like this thread , it should be fake , but friends i only share here the idea which i personally experienced , hope it helps somebody ,

i am soryy and thankful also
